And more random, pointless drabbles...these written at 6 AM last night. Yes, I did stay awake 'til then, and no, these are not completely coherent XD;;
101_kisses theme: #74, "voice"
Tezuka is already awake before the alarm rings; when it does, he presses the “off” button on top of the clock. He glances over at Tachibana, who has not so much as stirred, his face buried in the pillow, legs tangled in the sheets. He sighs, rueful and affectionate. The other never wakes up with the alarm.
“Kippei,” he says, reaching a hand over to shake Tachibana gently. He brushes a lock of hair away so he can see one eye, which flutters open when the shadow of the hand touches it. “The alarm rang.”
“Ah,” Tachibana replies, voice muffled by the pillow. “All right.”
“Why is it the alarm doesn’t seem to work on you?” Tezuka asks, shaking his head.
“Because I don’t want it to,” Tachibana answers with a chuckle, leaning over to catch Tezuka’s lips in a kiss. “I’d much rather be woken by the sound of your voice.”
And Tezuka, though he doesn't say so, thinks that’s a very good reason.
101_kisses theme: #2, "four of diamonds"
“It’ll be fun, I promise,” Tachibana tells the other coaxingly, planting a light kiss on the back of the hand he is holding.
Tezuka stubbornly crosses his arms. “No. I refuse.”
“I have it from very good sources that you know how to play already,” Tachibana says with a ghost of a smile. He releases Tezuka's hand and starts shuffling the deck of cards, sure that Tezuka will agree.
Damn the old Seigaku regulars and their propensity for talking. “It is a childish, immature game,” Tezuka says levelly.
“I also hear you’re ticklish.”
Twenty minutes later, Tezuka is finding that he enjoys strip poker rather more than he thought he might. Tachibana, looking dismayed, is across the table, minus shoes, socks, and shirt. “Two pair,” he says, laying down his cards with a glance at Tezuka. Jack of diamonds and hearts, and four of diamonds and spades.
Tezuka sees that the other is hoping to win this hand. He has to admit, two pair isn’t terrible; Tachibana’s hopes are high, with good reason. But... “Full house,” Tezuka says, his face betraying no emotion, and he lays down his own cards.
Tachibana groans, stands up, then hesitates with his fingers at the waistband of his pants. “You know,” he says with a sigh, “I don’t have anything on underneath these...”
Yes, Tezuka likes strip poker a lot more than he thought he would. Tachibana, on the other hand, is sorry he ever talked Tezuka into this.
